Brown Gravy

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat (1/4 cup butter)
- Whisk in flour and cook 2-3 min, stirring constantly, until golden brown (1/4 cup flour)
- Gradually whisk in broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps (3 cups broth)
- Add Worcestershire sauce, onion powder and garlic powder (1 tbsp sauce, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp garlic powder)
- Bring to a simmer and cook 5-10 min, stirring occasionally until thickened
- If available, add 2-3 tbsp ham drippings for extra flavor
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
